Why Use:

Total renter occupied units describes area occupants' ability and desire to rent a housing unit. This is indicative of the overall economic situation of the tract, occupants' desire to remain at least short-term, and rental market prices.

Suggested Treatment:

The data shows autocorrection, seasonality and a non-normal distribution. The data should be differenced and seasonally adjusted. While the Order Norm transformation, provides the best normality, the Yeo Johnson variable will also perform well.

Grain Transformation:

Data is unable to be distributed by time or geography. The roll up method used is Sum.
